Studies on native vegetation often deal with environmental, social or economic benefits separately. This is understandable as dealing with individual components of these complex systems makes their study more tractable. To demonstrate the full range of benefits, it will be important to develop some examples where the multiple benefits of native vegetation and its associated biodiversity are addressed. For example, there is currently a limited understanding of the links between landscape health and human mental/physical health, and the social and economic benefits that may arise. |
