1.3c Identifying the pressures on native vegetation

Research on management practices at property scale that can minimise or eliminate pressures on native vegetation, and that are translated into user-friendly products, is likely to be valuable to producers. For example, gaining better understanding of the impact of different grazing systems (such as cell grazing, set stocking and planned grazing) on native vegetation across Australia should help address some current information gaps.

Research on the interaction of potential pressures on native vegetation, such as between grazing and fire (especially in northern Australia), would help with the management of native vegetation.
