The MTG Program is an educational package offered to landholders who can make a significant contribution to the development of farm forestry in their region. The Farmers Forest (2001) is its manual, and can be ordered via the website. The manual emphasises design principles for integration of forestry into the farm system, consideration of markets and marketing strategies, forest mensuration and inventory, the art of silviculture, and farm-level research. Resources that can be downloaded from the website include Design Principles for Farm Forestry, and economic and inventory tools for farm foresters.
