National Farmers' Federation (NFF)
"A strong, progressive and sustainable farming sector in Australia"
The National Farmers' Federation is the peak lobby group for Australian agriculture, with headquarters in Canberra. It is made up of State farm organisations, commodity councils, associates and affiliates, and is responsible for national issues which affect more than one State or commodity.
The Federation's key priorities are the broad national issues, such as:
• land and water resource security
• industrial relations
• farm costs
• sustainable agriculture
• the environment.
The NFF is concerned with a large range of agricultural matters, including sustainability issues such as resource security and limiting greenhouse impacts.
Details on NFF policies and submissions are available for download from the website.
