About
The Department of Natural Resources and Water manages and allocates Queensland's land, water, mineral and petroleum resources, manages native vegetation and the use and sale of native forest resources, and also the control of pest plants and animals. The Department has discrete planning and management responsibilities for these natural resources.
Programs
Natural resource information is available from departmental libraries, fact sheets and educational materials.

The website has information on Weed and Pest Management, Water Management, Cultural Heritage and general Land Management.

The Vegetation Management section of the website provides regional ecosystem and remnant vegetation maps and information on proposing land-clearing and vegetation management plans.
